Kate Middleton's wedding dress, shoes, cake put on display at Buckingham Palace: Photos

The Duchess of Cambridge's wedding dress will go on display at Buckingham Palace from tomorrow. The Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen designed gown will be available for public viewing in the ballroom from Saturday, July 23 until Monday, October 3. Royal fans will also have the opportunity to view The Queen's Cartier tiara, which was loaned to the Duchess for the nuptials. Additional displays include the Duchess's wedding shoes, also by McQueen, and the diamond earrings commissioned by the Middleton family especially for the event. Sarah Burton will also feature in a special documentary film to be screened at the exhibition in which she discusses designing the wedding dress, which was kept a closely guarded secret until the Duchess stepped out of her hotel before the ceremony. Their wedding ceremony was no doubt straight from a fairytale, and Prince William and Kate Middleton's reception brought out all the stops. Following their historical nuptials earlier today (April 29), the newlywed Royals enjoyed mingling with their guests at the Buckingham Palace while feasting away at menu items such as Cornish Crab Salad on Lemon Blini, Pressed Duck Terrine with Fruit Chutney and Scottish Smoked Salmon Rose on Beetroot Blini, just to name a few of the swanky dishes. Queen Elizabeth II Gives Royal Wedding Consent

S he's celebrating her 85th birthday today (April 21), and Queen Elizabeth II was spotted out at the Royal Maundy Day Service at Westminster Abbey in London.The Queen of England was giving her formal marriage consent to Prince William and Kate Middleton for their upcoming April 29th nuptials. Under the Great Seal of the Realm, she signed an elaborate notice of approval that proclaimed in transcribed calligraphy her consent to the union of "Our Most Dearly Beloved Grandson Prince William Arthur Philip Louis of Wales, K.G., and Our Trusty and Well-Beloved Catherine Elizabeth Middleton."
