It’s no secret she’s one of America’s favorite stars, and Katherine Heigl has signed up for an upcoming project with HBO.The “Knocked Up” beauty will play the central character in a film based on Ann Hood’s bestselling novel called “The Knitting Circle.”
In addition, Heigl and her producing partner/mother, Nancy, will produce the flick in collaboration with Pine Street Pictures.The story surrounds a mother mourning the death of her young daughter who struggles to overcome the grief that begins to destroy everything in her life, including her marriage.
