Marshall was born in Lahore, Pakistan to a Pakistani Christian family in 1982. She is a commerce graduate from St. Patrick's College (Karachi).

Marshall was chosen by Bunto Kazmi to model her clothes in 2000 for a Milan fashion show and later modeled for Dior and Gucci.

She starred in Abrar-ul-Haq's music video Preeto (Pretty) and in the music video for the Shehzad Roy song "Jana".

She appeared in the television movie called Tere Bina (without you) in which she played a young spoiled girl who elopes with her boyfriend and then later learns about the responsibilities of marriage, which was followed by a role in the television drama Malika in which she plays a Fashion Model/Actress who gets ahead of her friend in show business.

Emily Sander (1989 - 2007), was an 18-year-old American college student and nude model reported missing on November 23, 2007 and found dead six days later. Sander was enrolled as a student at Butler Community College in El Dorado, Kansas. Six days after her disappearance, on November 29,2007, investigators found a body which they said matched a preliminary physical description of Sander. The body was found about 50 miles east of El Dorado. Police are searching for a man whom they have identified as a "person of interest". According to police, the two were seen leaving a bar in east El Dorado on November 23, 2007. Later, blood and suspected evidence of foul play was discovered in the suspect's motel room and Sander's car was found still parked at the bar. The rental car the man was driving was found abandoned Tuesday in Vernon, Texas, where he has relatives. Police believe he is with his pregnant girlfriend and that he might have escaped to or is preparing to escape
