Bhoomika Chawla was born as Rachna in New Delhi, India on the 21st August 1978. She is a Nick Name is Guddiya. Her father was a military officer and her older brother followed his line of work. Bhumika Chawla completed her schooling from Delhi and then shifted to Mumbai (Bombay) to pursue her acting career.
She started her campaign in glamour world with Ponds talcum powder advertisement. Bhoomika married Bharat Thakur, a well-known yoga instructor. Bhoomika Chawla made her debut in a Telugu movie Yuvakudu. Bhumika won best actress award for Khushi. Bhumika Chawala made her debut in Hindi films with Tere Naam opposite Salman Khan.
