Ann's family come originally from Sweden, they emigrated to America when Ann was a young girl..She was great in Viva Las Vegas and proved she had talent as well as looks with her singing and dancing. Elvis at the time was a handsome, good looking guy. The movie is like a series of music videos all strung together The inevitable happened and they had an affair in real life, in fact they considered getting married but perhaps Ann was too successful and career driven to be tied down at that stage.But they were soul mates and remained in touch all through Elvis s life, they had a special relationship.
