She was crowned Miss Surat during the year 1998. She was a contestant in the 2001 Miss India pageant.She did a number of TV commercials like Himani cream & hand soap, Arun Ice Cream, Manikchand Gutka, and Nile herbal shampoo.She made her acting debut in the Telugu film Sontham. Subsequent to that, she starred in the Tamil film "Aai".
