Kim was born in Ahmednagar and did her schooling from a boarding school in Panchgani. After that she returned to her hometown and joined a junior college but hated her college. 'Having studied in a boarding school, where most of the girls were from aboard, living and studying in Ahmednagar came as a culture shock', quips Kim. So while in her twelfth, she decided to call it quits.
