Hansika made her TV acting debut in 1999 (yes at the age of eight) in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
She made her big screen debut in 2003's Escape from Taliban (based on the story of Sushmita Bandhopadhya, who fled Afghanistan in 1995).
Hansika has appeared in a total of five TV shows, and so far seventeen Hindi, Telugu and Kannada films.
