Deepika Padukone is one of the most beautiful Indian actress who was born on 5th January 1986. She is a daughter of former Indian Badminton Player Prakash Padukone. She started her career in modeling and she has modeled for brands like Liril soap, Close up tooth paste, Limca soft drink, etc. Her modeling career has brightened after she won "Model of the Year" at the Fifth Kingfisher Fashion Awards. Later on she became brand ambassador for Vijay Mallya's Kingfisher Airlines. In 2006 she started her movie career with a Kannada film "Aishwarya". But the things are turn around when she was chosen for the Sharuk Khan starred Bollywood movie "Om Shanthi Om". It was a block buster movie directed by Farah Khan that gave a celebrity status to Deepika all over the world. She won Best Actress Award for her performance from Film fare Awards.
